EUROLIVE B12X
The EUROLIVE B12X active loudspeaker is exactly what you’ve come to expect from Behringer – more power, more features and absolutely more affordable! Our engineers have created a powered loudspeaker that merges 1000-Watt Class-D power amp technology, a 3-channel digital mixer with gain setting recall that is “wireless ready” for our ULM Series digital microphones (available separately), integrated DSP – and exceptional portability. Then we loaded the B12X with our best 12" long-excursion driver for incredibly deep bass, and a state-of-the-art 1''; phenolicdiaphragm compression driver for exceptional high-frequency reproduction. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream music from your smart-phone, tablet or other Bluetooth-equipped device – and you can even control the system via our free iOS*/ Android* mobile apps. The B12X professional active loudspeaker is destined to become a legend in its own right, alongside the other EUROLIVE models that have made Behringer the world leader in active loudspeakers.
Built-in Digital Mixer – Comprehensive Remote Control
The B12X features a fully addressable onboard digital mixer with two combo jack/XLR connectors that accept balanced and unbalanced connections for dynamic mics and line-level instruments. The simple and intuitive user interface consists of a single rotary push-encoder with Process, Setup, Exit and Enter function buttons. A beautifully-backlit LCD display controls DSP functions including mixer parameters, 3 band EQ and presets. All settings can be controlled locally, or via the free downloadable iOS*/ Android* mobile apps – and locked down to prevent unauthorised access.
Big on Bluetooth
We know your music lives on your phone, computer or tablet, so we've made it easy to access and play through the B12X. With a simple swipe of your finger, you can instantly stream all of your favorite music from any Bluetooth-equipped device, such as your computer, smart phone or tablet. Streaming music via Bluetooth Technology opens up a tremendous amount of available content, such as a virtually limitless array of online radio-channels, multimedia providers and much more. Imagine that you have the whole PA at your fingertips; control the party from the dance floor or the background music comfortably from your chair. Simple, easy and amazing!
Bi-Amplification - The Path to Absolute Signal Integrity
With its 1000 ultra-clean Watts of digital output delivered through separately-powered drivers, courtesy of true bi-amping (2 amplifiers per speaker system), the B12X delivers high-resolution sound that really brings out the best in your music. While some of our competitors apply simple passive crossovers, which inaccurately separates the frequency spectrum and degrade driver performance, Behringer has gone the extra mile – driving each woofer and tweeter with a separate amplifier for absolute signal integrity
Custom-Engineered Transducers
Powerful, high-efficiency Class-D amplifiers and Switch Mode Power Supply technology coupled with state-of-the-art DSP functionality sure sounds impressive – but what about the part of the system you actually hear? We never cut corners on our transducers (woofers and tweeters), and we never just pull what we have off the shelf. Our LF (Low Frequency) and HF (High Frequency) transducers are designed specifically for each application – it’s what sets us apart from the competition. When you buy a Behringer active loudspeaker, you can rest assured the transducers inside have been engineered to perform flawlessly with every other element for truly professional results. The B12X cranks out massive quantities of low end, with articulate, detailed mids and crystal-clear highs.
Extraordinarily Versatile
Thanks to its trapezoidal shape, the B12X is suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as mounting on standard speaker poles, vertical placement atop subwoofers, or even laid on the side for use as onstage monitor wedges. The B12X’s extraordinary fidelity and frequency response make it a favorite of public speakers, vocalists and instrumentalists alike. Hookup is simple, requiring only a single XLR or ¼ " cable from your mixing console and power – and if you’re just streaming Bluetooth, it's even easier. Additional active loudspeakers can be chained together via the XLR Link Output jack on the rear panel.
