(9mm,6ply All Birch Shells) The 9mm, 6-ply all-birch shell is thicker than modern drums and features a powerful attack and thick mid-bass. It received high praise for its clear sound image, which was a clear departure from the mellow, soft sound that was common with drums at the time. Also, the inside of the shell was painted in the same color as the specs from the early 1980s. (Classic Drum Sizes) The size of the tom tom is 10"x8", 12"x8", the floor tom is 16"x16", and the bass drum is 22"x14". The bass drum with a strong attack that symbolizes this era, the floor tom that emphasizes the deep bass, and the sharp tom tom with a short sustain are reminiscent of the sounds of the time. (REMO AMBASSADOR Coated TAMA 50th Anniversary version) We adopted REMO AMBASSADOR Coated Batter/Snare Side, which is a reproduction of the logo printed at the time.
