This new addition to the Zildjian “A” Family is a sonic recreation of the vintage "A" sound from the 1950's. Each cymbal in this collection delivers immense musicality and features a thin, loose, played-in feel with a great balance of bright and dark overtones.

We added a variety of intricate details to make this collection truly something special including its timeless, individual "aged" patina to the classy and understated "Avedis" logo, to the original hollow "Zildjian" logo underneath.

Find the cymbal that "speaks to you" as there is a broad weight variation among each Thin to Medium Thin model (2,438g - 2,721g) with the gram weights written underneath. So selecting an A Avedis cymbal is a personal experience.

Designed in conjunction with Jazz legend Kenny Washington, this newest edition to the K Constantinople line is medium thin in weight, which produces a pitch that can ride over the band and cuts through most small to big band settings. The "Bounce" ride has traditional K Constantinople hammering but with more pronounced lathe/tonal grooves, and produces plenty of sustain and wash. This cymbal has a unique series of eight "cluster" over-hammered marks on top that are visually distinct and give it just enough trash and 'dirt.' You'll dig this one.
The legendary "K Con" is the pinnacle of the Zildjian cymbal line, renowned for its perfect blended sound quality. Complex hammering contributes to the cymbal's unique sonic identity and dark tones that can be at once cutting and smooth. Made in small batches using a 14-step process, every K Constantinople has its own signature voice.

Mastersound HiHats feature crimped edges on the bottom cymbal, which not only prevents air lock, but creates a lively, fast “chick” sound and an overall balanced tonal presence.
