The 18" Meinl Byzance Extra Dry China is a unique china with a dark, dirty sound that has a wide spectrum of frequencies. It has an explosive attack due to its medium thin weight and the partial lathing. MEINL Byzance cymbals are completely hand hammered into shape and satisfy the highest demands.

Every Byzance cymbal is a piece of art and has its own unique sound characteristics which can never be duplicated. Extra Dry cymbals have big hammer marks which in combination with the untreated, natural finish enable an extremely dark sound with a short sustain giving the cymbal dominant lows with an esoteric character.
